Warranty Terms and Conditions
  • Products including but not limited to notebooks, major brand desktops, LCD monitors and printers have return to manufacturer warranty and are subjected to the respective manufacturer's warranty terms and conditions.
  • KS Computer provides limited warranty for most of the hardware, eg. LCD monitors, motherboards, speakers, keyboards and mise, VGA cards, networking products and peripherals and notebooks, etc. We can assist customers to submit warranty claims subjected to the respective manufacturers' warranty.
  • Hard drives carry 3 years limit warranty; and Asus notebooks carry 2 years limit warranty.

At KS Computers, we issue 2 different types of Return Authorisation (RA): Credit RA and Service RA.

  • For DOA items: K.S. Computers provides seven days Dead on Arrival (DOA) warranty on hardware supplied. If credit is requested, credit will be issued with a new invoice number or else a new replacement product will be supplied.
  • Customers claiming DOA must return goods in original conditions, full packaging and with the proof of purchase, subject to NO PHYSICAL DAMAGE on goods returned. Only exchange is permitted under DOA claim unless otherwise agreed upon.
  • For RMA item: Products will be replaced or repaired.
  • For VGA cards and motherboards warranty, please return the faulty unit only without the box
  • K.S. Computers built desktop PCs carry one-year parts, five-years labor and return to base warranty, unless otherwise agreed upon.
  • No warranty applies to software, accessories and consumables.
  • Problems including but not limited to virus damage, software problems and user misuse are not covered by warranty. A service charge may incur if the faults are caused by software or if there is no fault found.
  • No PHYSICAL DAMAGE is covered under the warranty.
  • Proof of purchase MUST be presented for proof of warranty, refund and exchange (conditions apply).
  • Software and consumables cannot be refunded or exchanged so customers must check for compatibility and correct model number before ordering.
  • The purchaser must arrange delivery to and from an authorized service agent for warranty repairs. K.S. Computers will not be held responsible for any cost incurred.
  • Specifically procured items or specific orders if returned will attract a 50% restocking fee.(Conditions apply)
  • Handing fee, bank charges and freight charges are not refundable under any circumstances.


Warranty Procedures


  • Customers can submit warranty online through our website by logging into our warranty page. Warranty submission requires brand name, product model number, serial number (if applicable), fault description and proof of purchase. Status of warranty will get updated and customers can always check the status online.
  • If the faulty item is found to be purchased from us, then our warranty department staff will issue a Return Authorization (RA) number. Once the RA number is given, customers can either drop in the faulty unit, or send the faulty unit to us by post or by couriers in next 5 days.
  • Our warranty department will process the warranty. Once customers are notified that the good is returned from warranty they can organize a pick up from our shop personally or by courier.
  • General lead-time for warranty claim is two weeks. Older item or special item may incur longer delay.
  • If the item is found without fault, or returned from supplier for no fault found, a processing fee of $65 will be applied.
  • For products carrying manufacturer's warranty please contact manufacturer directly unless otherwise agreed.
